| I happily retired after a 32-year career as a schoolteacher. My husband Ken, a retired Navy veteran, currently is employed as a mechanical engineer. Together, we went in search of a new venture.
We've always been passionate about decorating our home and we've filled it with the warm glow and sweet fragrances of candles. A few years ago, we discovered candles made from soy. Their pure and clean natural qualities intrigued us to learn more about them. These benefits inspired us to try and make our own soy candles.
We were so happy to discover we could purchase soy cultivated in America and we continued our search to purchase the other candle components that were also made in America. Thus, The Amariken Candle Co. was born.
We take great pride in creating a product that brings such joy and, at the same time, stands behind the value of commitment and dedication to something we believe in and utilize our local natural resources to help foster our national economy.
